There are many different references online for more specific issues dealing with advice and tips for anal sex. If you are new to the anal sex scene it is advised to educate yourself as much as possible through professionals and organizations. Safe sex is encouraged when performing any sexual act for the first time or with new partners.

  1. Use lubrication. This is one of the most important advice in regards to anal sex. Do not use saliva but instead use a lubricant; a water based lubricant is best.

  2. Listen to your partner. If your partner says stop, ouch, or slower, then listen. This is a very delicate area and injury is possible. If your partner needs you to slow down the that is exactly what you need to do.

  3. Go small or go home. If you are new to anal sex then the best advice or tip is to go small at first. You will want to start off with a toy the size of a finger and slowly move up to larger toys. Start off with fingers first and then move up to something bigger. Make sure your partner is comfortable before adjusting to a larger sized toy or object.

  4. Try it you might like it. The fact of the matter is that in sexual play, especially anal sex, it sometimes is best to try it on yourself first. Trying anal sex yourself allows you to not only explore the sensations but also the feelings. By knowing how anal sex feels you will know what the possible limits of your partner may be. You will also know what signs to look for should you need to ease up or stop.

  5. Maintain proper hygiene before and after anal sex. A standard piece of advice for anal sex is to always maintain proper hygiene. Before you have anal sex you should make sure that the anal area is clean. You can do this by simply having a proper bowel elimination or by using an enema. After anal sex hygiene should be maintained by a proper bath and enema if necessary.
