Apple Return Policy
Knowing the Apple return policy will make it easier for you to get the refund or exchange that you need. However, there are rules for certain kinds of returns and timelines you must follow.
Before you return a product to Apple contact them by email or phone to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA). This authorization gives you directions for returning your item and outlines the return policy. You then have two weeks to send the item back to Apple after you receive the RMA.
If the product is not opened then Apple will issue a refund based on the method of payment you used to purchase the item. If you paid with a credit card, for example, your card will be credited with the purchase price.
According to the Apple return policy, some items are not returnable. Those items include anything that was ordered as a customized item. If you have opened software, or downloaded software, or opened memory, Apple will not accept it as a return. Apple gift cards are also not returnable. When returning a product to Apple, the package will be inspected to be certain that it is in the original box with all of the paperwork and any chargers or other accompanying items. It is essential to include all of the original items to get a refund.
The Apple return policy for iPhones is different. The iPhone can be returned to Apple for up to 30 days. You must request a return through email or their toll free number. All of the packaging, manuals and accessories must accompany the iPhone to receive a refund.
