Use these arm wrestling techniques to help you beat your opponents. To excel in matches, you are going to need to have a lot of arm strength. However, having a good technique can also help you win. If you master the following arm wrestling techniques, you will have a clear advantage over your opponents. They will make it easier for you to pin down the other player's arm.

  1. Hook - The hook is one of the best arm wrestling techniques, because you can lock the opponent's arm in a position that makes it very hard for them to get out of. To do it, curl your wrist in a way that helps you grab and get control of the other players hand. Then, use the weight of your arm to start applying pressure. You will find this arm wrestling technique to be especially useful if you have large palms.
  2. Top Roll - In this arm wrestling technique, you will gain the advantage by tightening your grip on the opponent's fingers. In order to do it, you will need to get your hand higher than your opponents. Then, slowly move your fingers to the opponents to gain an advantage before they are even aware of what happened. Your hand will slightly open and you will grip the other player's fingers.
  3. Press - This is one of those arm wrestling techniques that work best if you have a strong upper body. To use it, you will need to turn your opponents palm upwards. It needs to be done quickly. Then, apply as much pressure as you can using your arm and upper body. If you use this arm wrestling technique, make sure to do it correctly because it can backfire quickly if you don't.
