Battlefield 2: How To Unlock Weapons
Want to know how to unlock weapons in Battlefield 2? Unlocking weapons isn't so hard, but it requires you to spend time playing the game. Let's get started.
- Play multiplayer, on ranked servers. Make sure that you have version 1.5 of Battlefield 2, firstly. Then, make sure that you have Punkbuster installed. Now, run the game and find a ranked server to play on. Play a little while, killing enemies, completing objectives, etc. However, make sure that you play until the round is over, which is when the map changes or when a team wins.
- Rank up. To rank up, you'll need to do Step 1. Play until you reach a certain number of points to rise through the ranks. Unlocks are earned when you rise to a certain rank. There are a total of seven weapons to unlock. The first rank that earns you the option to unlock a weapon is the 3rd rank, Lance Corporal. Lance Corporal requires you to earn a total of 500 points to level up once you reach the second rank of Private First Class. Once you've reached Lance Corporal, quit back to the menu and you'll see a pop-up congratulating you on your new rank and a message will say that you can unlock a weapon. Now, go and unlock a weapon in the required menu. Make sure you choose carefully as you won't be able to change what your unlocked weapon will be after you choose.
- Continue to rank up. As stated before, there are seven unlockable weapons, which means that there are seven ranks to unlock weapons at. They are, the third rank, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th. Continue to play multiplayer until you've reached the 10th rank, Master Gunnery Sergeant. By then, you will have unlocked all the weapons in Battlefield 2!
