It's actually quite difficult to find some good "Battlefield Vietnam" mods single player on the Internet. Considering how amazing the multiplayer component of the game is, the single player experience of "Battlefield Vietnam" is somewhat ignored by the mod community. However, the following three "Battlefield Vietnam" mods single player really take the singular experience of the game and make it something truly amazing.

  1. Operation Peacekeeper. This "Battlefield Vietnam" mod single player puts the player right into the action by setting the conflict in Kosovo. By taking real battles and putting them on a digital medium, this mod ensnares the player from the get-go and never lets up until the white knuckle-inducing finale. This is one of those stories that you'd expect to see in a Hollywood blockbuster, but instead is in one of the best "Battlefield Vietnam" mods single player out there.
  2. Point of Existence. In the imaginary 2005 this "Battlefield Vietnam" mod single player is set in, Russia and the United States have come to arms over the resources in Sudan. This is one of those Tom Clancy-type scenarios that makes for an amazing "Battlefield Vietnam" single player experience, and is thus one of the best fan-made mods on the Internet today. By taking up both sides of the story, you get to see a fully unbiased view of a conflict that could very well happen within the future, but luckily has not.
  3. Flashpoint Balkans. One of the most atrocious military campaigns in history, yet still one of those oft-overlooked by the Western world, occurred right after the breakup of Communist Yugoslavia. This "Battlefield Vietnam" mod single player puts you right in the middle of the massive struggle, having you defend realistic structures and participate in battles that can only be described as frighteningly-historical. This is easily one of the most powerful "Battlefield Vietnam" mods out there.
