More people have failed at this lifestyle due to the fact that they tried to eliminate all their favorite foods at once. There are many types of vegetarian lifestyles to choose from and once you have chosen which way to go, you can then start searching for the right supplements to help keep your health in perfect order.

  1. Choosing the Right Vegetarian Lifestyle. There are four types of vegetarians. Ovo-vegetarian type is where you eat eggs and no meat. Finally, the last type is vegan which eats no animal products at all and some vegans will even avoid honey, as it is produced by bees. Vegans strive to be kind to all animals.
  2. Gradual Elimination of Meats and Animal products. If you have chosen to be a vegetarian, then it is best to do a gradual elimination of your favorite foods. Becoming vegetarian is healthy as proven by the many studies done on the 7th Day Adventist Diet, which has been in practice for over 130 years. The average 7th Day Adventist lives an extra 4.3 to 7.2 years while adhering to a vegetarian diet. They also have a 50% lower incidence of heart disease. They do not drink any caffeine, eat any cheese, do not smoke or drink. When you decide to cut the meat, do it by eliminating half of what you normally eat and then the following week cut out half again until you are totally free of animal products.
