Best Ab Workout For Men
If you are a man trying to get a six pack, then you need to know the best ab workout for men. This workout routine will get your abs burning and therefore, working hard. Keep in mind you need to do this workout everyday for it to work the way you want it to and allow your body to build up a good core.
- Start your ab workout for men with some old fashioned sit ups. The proper way to do a sit up for the best ab workout is to cover your ears with you hands on either side. Do not put your hands behind your neck where you will be tempted pull you neck up because you will make the workout less effective and possibly hurt your neck in the process. Also, be sure when doing the sit ups that your butt is staying on the ground and not popping the ground to give you a boost up because once again, this isn’t working your abs like you want it to. Try and do at least 50 sit ups without stopping; if this is too difficult, then try 25.
- The next step in you ab work out is the leg raise. To do the leg raise ab workout, you need to lay flat on your back and hold on to something tight such as a bed leg. While you’re flat on your back and gripping something tight, lift both of your legs together straight up into the air and feel the burn! When you go back down from the raise in this ab workout, don’t let your feet touch the ground but rather hover them six inches above the ground, then go for another leg raise.
- Finally, do the vertical scissors to workout your abs. To do vertical scissors, you lift both legs six inches in the air while you’re flat on your back, then you kick one up to about twelve inches from the ground, then you lower it to six inches and bring the other leg up to twelve while your lowering your first leg. Imagine pedaling a bike, with one foot always at the top and one always at the bottom of the pedal; apply the same principle to this ab workout.
