1. The Tour of Payne. This best cycling race in Oklahoma takes place every July 4. This race takes you through a 26, 36, 62 or 100 mile loop through routes located in Payne County. The ride will take you through historical locations in Oklahoma, including the Jim Thorpe Park in Cushing and the Washington Irving Trail Museum. After the race, you can enjoy the "Boomer Blast" celebration. The race starts at 7:00 a.m. and costs $20 to $25 (depending on when you register).

Spin Your Wheels benefits the Children's Center, a private, non-profit pediatric hospital. The entry fee for this event is $25 to $30 depending on when you register.

This cycling tour takes you through Oklahoma's Green Country and Mayes and Delaware Counties. The most notable scenery is the Ozark Mountains. All routes start and finishes in Pryor, Oklahoma. The ride takes place on the first Saturday after Labor Day.
