Picking the best Jackson Rathbone movie is a very difficult choice. Rathbone's acting ability is razor sharp and, in recent films, he has shown that he can be as versatile as any other actor. From a psychologically troubled film student to a civil war vampire, he draws you in and makes you believe he is exactly the person played on screen.

  1. "Dread." Jackson Rathbone plays an aspiring film student with a deeply psychologically rooted past. He signs on for a project that is presented as a way for to finish his dissertation and snag a top grade. The concept is very simple, film people as they talk about their deepest fear and the feelings of dread that surround it. When the project is over Rathbone's character finds out that the leader of the project isn't exactly done with him or the people that have been brought into the project. This movie showcases Rathbone's ability as an actor to go to the depths of the human psyche. "Dread" is definitely a top pick for the best of Jackson Rathbone.

  2. "Twilight."  This film makes the best of the Jackson Rathbone list because of the subtlety of his acting and its effectiveness to still draw people in. Though Rathbone's character of Jasper Hale has very few lines his presence is still felt. Rathbone manages to draw the viewer in and make them wonder about this deeply reserved vampire. The widely popular fight scene at the end of the movie also shows off Jackson's action ability. As his character expands throughout the Twilight series, it becomes clear that viewers will be rewarded for their curiosity regarding Jasper Hale.

  3. "Hurt." Jackson Rathbone plays the small, but interesting, part of Conrad Coltrane. Though the viewer really doesn't learn much about Coltrane, the film still makes the list as one of the best Jackson Rathbone films to date.  It allows fans to see how far this up-and-coming actor can stretch his acting ability.

Though Jackson Rathbone has not appeared in many movies, fans are sure to see a lot more of him. With Twilight: Eclipse, Twilight: Breaking Dawn, and four other major motion pictures coming soon, it is only a matter of time before we see more from Jackson Rathbone.
