- Northwood and Riva Ridge These vail ski runs are very popular. Primarily for intermediates, this ski area requires a bit of stamina and skill.
- BlueSky Basin carries the Prima-Pronto Strong skiing is needed here. There is a very nice lane of skiing here, gliding at a nice pace into Vail Village.
- Highline Express This ski run is very close to the end of Vail Mountain. The narrow Rodgers Run is located here. Black Diamond, Lindsey (International), Primo, Blue Ox and Genghis Khan have earned their reputations.
