Best Way To Burn Fat
If the spare tire in your mid-section has you contemplating the best way to burn fat, you are most certainly not alone! Would-be dieters are flocking to the Internet in the hopes of buying chemical fat burners. Look around the gym--if this is indeed where you spend a bit of time--and you will see men and women sweating to pounding music, lifting weights and trying water aerobics. Even so, the fat stays. So what is the best way to burn fat?
- Find a calorie-burning activity. The trick here is to choose something that you actually enjoy doing. Far too often the gym-goers struggle on machines they loathe, do workouts they despise and look forward to finishing the ordeal. As soon as the weather turns nasty or the work schedule changes, they find an excuse to quit. Do not be one of them! If you like to walk, start taking nature walks nearby. Jog, run, do calisthenics, start shadow-boxing; in short, find an activity you look forward to and that you will do, even if the weather is bad.
- Do it for twelve minutes. The goal of physical activity is to elevate the heart rate. There is no need to bike endlessly around the neighborhood, if you can find your target heart rate--and maintain it for twelve consecutive minutes. Refer to this interval as a “training zone.” The best way to burn fat is to reach this zone frequently.
- Build more muscles. Exercise builds muscle, but so does targeted resistance training. Discover an activity you like doing, such as weight training, and incorporate it into your daily life. Do bench presses while watching TV or leg presses while playing on Facebook. Muscles help with fat burning.
- Explore a physical hobby. While the best way to burn fat relies on exercise, keeping the process going demands enjoyment. Whether you need to lose a lot of weight or just the love handles, be sure to enjoy your changing physique. Take up a hobby that demands some movement. Good examples include hiking, fishing, Tai Chi, golf or Yoga.
Once you discover the fat burning activities that appeal to you the most, maintain these activities and incorporate them into your daily habits. Before long, they become second nature, and so will burning fat.
