Blackberry Curve: How Do I Move An Icon?

Wondering how to move an icon on a Blackberry Curve? Blackberry Curves are one of the most popular smartphones on the market, but learning all the tips and tricks of using one can be a challenge. Fortunately, some things, like moving an icon, are incredibly easy to do on the Blackberry Curve.

What you'll need:

• Blackberry Curve smartphone
• A few minutes

1. The Menu key. From the home screen, click the "Menu" key on your Blackberry Curve to navigate to your Applications screen. (Tip: The Menu key is sometimes said to resemble a blackberry and is found on the front of the Blackberry Curve next to the Call key.)
2. Choose the icon. Use the trackball on your Blackberry to navigate to the icon that you wish to move. Once the icon is highlighted, click on the "Menu" key again to bring up your options. 
3. Moving the icon. Choose "Move" from the options listed in the menu. A small, black outline will appear around the icon you have chosen to move. Use the trackball to move the icon to your desired location, then click the trackball to finalize the change once the icon is in the desired position. Keep in mind that on some versions of Blackberry, changing the order of the first few icons in the list will also change the order of the icons on your home screen. 
   
4. Moving other icons. To move the icon back to the original position or to move other icons on your Blackberry Curve, just follow steps two and three again. It is that simple!
