When you consider career objective examples, you are trying to create a statement that shows what the employer can expect from you. Career objective examples differ from career goals in that career goals describe what you want to get out of your career. Career objective examples offer the employer a reason as to why it should hire you.

  1. Technology Sales Representative Career Objective Example. "I wish to apply my extensive background in computer networking sales to Fortune 500 companies to helping a proactive sales organization grow." This shows that you have high-level sales experience and a technical background. It also throws a small compliment to the company.
  2. Social Worker Career Objective Example. "I would like to utilize my degree in social work and my experience in inner-city counseling to help families get back on their feet." Once again, this shows the background and educational qualifications of the candidate and how the candidate would fit into the organization's personnel needs, all in one sentence.
  3. Marketing Executive Career Objective Example. "I want to expand on the success I have achieved as a viral marketing expert by assisting companies in maximizing Internet opportunities." This statement is full of information that is important to the company such as the specific marketing skills the company is looking for, a track record of success and the confidence the candidate has in his abilities.
  4. Customer Service Associate Career Objective Example. "I would like to apply my 10 years of customer service experience in the automotive parts industry to assisting a company retain clients." This is a very basic statement for a general position, but it shows that the candidate has the necessary experience and understanding of the position to be successful.
  5. Logistics Manager Career Objective Example. "I would like to apply my extensive knowledge of the transportation industry to helping an expanding company maintain its distribution network." This statement shows the company that the candidate not only has a firm understanding of the job, but he also has researched the company and knows that the company is expanding.
