Cast Of 'The Brady Bunch': Where Are They Now?
Fans of the popular 1960's sitcom may sometimes wonder about the cast of "The Brady Bunch": where are they now? While most the cast members experienced fame and fortune thanks to their role on "The Brady Bunch," most of them never had much success acting after the show ended. Stop wondering where they are now and get reacquainted with the cast of "The Brady Bunch."
Florence Henderson, who played Carol Brady, the mom, appeared in a number of movies and televisions after "The Brady Bunch" ended. She also created a one-woman show about her experience on the show. In 2010, Henderson, then 76, competed on the reality show "Dancing with the Stars."
Robert Reed, who played Mr. Brady, passed away in 1992 at the age of 59. His personal life was fraught with struggles, as he was a closeted homosexual. After "The Brady Bunch," he appeared in several other television shows and in the film "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble."
Although Ann B. Davis had a television career prior to playing Alice, the Brady's housekeeper, her career post-Brady has been all about "The Brady Bunch." She made a cameo in the 1995 film "The Brady Bunch Movie," playing a trucker named Schultzy. Her appearance in the film was a reference to her role on the show as well as an early role on "The Bob Cummins Show," for which she won an Emmy.
A few of the Brady kids have furthered their careers after "The Brady Bunch" by penning tell-all books and memoirs. Barry Williams, who played oldest son Greg, wrote "Growing Up Brady: I Was a Teenage Greg" in 1992 while Maureen McCormick, who played sister Marcia, published "Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice" in 2008. McCormick's book documents her struggle with bulimia and substance abuse after the show ended.
Christopher Knight, who played Peter, left acting after the "Brady Bunch" to work in the software industry. In 2010, he returned to acting with a role on the "Bold and the Beautiful." He also starred in a few reality shows, including the "Surreal Life" and "My Fair Brady."
Eve Plumb, who played middle sister Jan, has continued to act in the years following "The Brady Bunch." She also paints. Mike Lookinland, who played Bobby, the youngest Brady boy, started working behind the camera after the show ended. Susan Olsen, who played Cindy Brady, works as a graphic designer and still make occasional television appearances.
