Cataclysm Homeworld Mods

The Cataclysm Homeworld mod has nothing to do with “World of Warcraft”. Fans of Blizzard's games should go read another article now. This simple mod converts the ships available in Cataclysm into the ships available in its predecessor game “Homeworld.” Instead of dealing with the slower, less powerful ships, a player can use all of the units that were available in the original game.

  1. Get the “Homeworld” to “Cataclysm” mod.  How you choose to do this is up to you, although you probably should limit yourself to the legal options for acquiring this modification. This is entirely your decision. Apply the patch and start the game as normal.
  2. Pick the side you want to play. Successful installation of the mod will give a player access to all the racial ships on that side. All the original craft were included in this video game mod but the campaign gain boils down into a good guys and bad guys scenario. The ships you get to build, naturally depend on the side. The “Cataclysm” to “Homeworld” mod does not change the support structures. Fortunately the support structures did not change much from the original game.
  3. Build your newly acquired fleets and decimate your opponents. You can do this step however you like. Just make sure that you have the “Cataclysm” to “Homeworld” mod installed properly or the game will crash. Some of those enemy ships can be real beasts.

If you are sill looking for “World of Warcraft: Cataclysm” mods, you probably should go look at the games official website. Players there will help you find what you are looking for.
