It takes place during the Crusades within the Middle East. Although fun, it can be an extremely challenging game. However, if you use the following cheats, it will be much easier. To enter the cheats, you must first enter cheat mode. This is done by pushing the "Ctrl" key and typing in "TRIBLADE2002" when you are on the main menu. Nothing will show that you correctly entered this, but if it worked, you will be able to enter cheats for Stronghold Crusader as you are playing.
