Cheese Ball Recipe Rolled In Parsley

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 1 teaspoon  lemon juice
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper or 3-4 drops hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and cheddar with a hand mixer until smooth.
  2. Add onion, pimentos, Worchestershire, lemon juice and cayenne or hot sauce.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Form into a ball and roll in parsley.

 

Italian Cheese Ball

  • ¼ cup fresh chives, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 4  ounces Fontina cheese cheese, shredded
  • 2 oz. hard salami or pepperoni, diced
  • 2 tablespoons roasted red pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1  clove garlic, minced
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and Fontina with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  2. Add two tablespoons chives, two tablespoons basil, two tablespoons parsley, salami or pepperoni, roasted red pepper, black pepper and garlic. Stir to combine.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Form into a ball and roll in the remaining chives, basil and parsley.
