2. Gotham Comedy Club.  One of the most well known comedy clubs in NYC, Gotham Comedy Club has premiered famous comedians such as Dane Cook, Larry David and Lewis Black. During "Live At Gotham," six new comedians can showcase their talent in one hour. Guests are required to buy at least two drinks and pay an admission fee. 3. Comic Strip Live. Eddie Murphy, Sarah Silverman and Adam Sandler started in the entertainment business by performing at Comic Strip Live. This comedy club in NYC often sells out weekend shows fast, so it is recommended to get a reservation weeks in advance. Guests are required to order at least two drinks and pay an admission fee. 4. Caroline's on Broadway. One of the most famous NYC comedy clubs, Caroline's on Broadway has introduced famous comedians like Jay Leno and Tim Allen. 5. New York Comedy Club.  New and some prominent comedians are featured at New York Comedy Club. Since tickets at this comedy club sell out quickly, reservations are recommended. Guests are required to pay admission and purchase at least two drinks. Admission is offered to anyone over the age of 16, and comedy classes are available for the public.
