Common Relationship Problems
There are several common relationship problems that occur during a relationship. The following list chronicles the most common relationship problems that arise during marriage or dating. Relationship problems occur for many reasons and are hard to deal with. Listed below you will find the most common relationship problems that exist.
- Topping the list of common relationship problems is money. Couples argue over how to spend or pay bills. Many times couples end up in divorce court over money problems. Another argument over money is the breadwinner has the control leaving the spouse to feel alone with no money of his or her own. Refusal to give your spouse money for things needed or groceries or whatever the need leads to resentment and self-worthlessness for your spouse.
- Another common relationship problem is power. It’s a known fact men like power and this causes a woman to feel inadequate during the relationship. Many times, it’s his way or the highway. Marriage is a two way street. Both should have equal amounts of power during the relationship. If the woman has no say about anything in the relationship, then she just sinks inside her and does not go against what she has been told should happen.
- Respect is another huge relationship problem for couples. A relationship needs to have common respect. Everyone has different thoughts and opinions on many things and they should be respected not condemned. Relationships need respect in order to survive.
- Sex is another big common relationship problem. Everyone likes sex but when one partner puts the other down for not being good enough in bed, that is when problems arise for the worse. It makes the one being put down feel like if they are not good enough. No one should feel this way about themselves.
These four things mentioned above are the biggest common relationship problems in society. If these problems can be worked out, there would not be many divorces.
