Cristiano Ronaldo: 5 Best Goals
Here are Christiano Ronaldo's 5 best goals. The man nicknamed "The Winker" by English tabloids due to his role in a Wayne Rooney red car incident, scores goals for fun. The Portugal international starred for Sporting Lisbon in his home nation before dazzling at Manchester United and now he scores spectacular efforts on a regular basis for Spanish giants Real Madrid but after much analysis here are the five best Cristiano Ronaldo goals.
-
Man Utd v Porto, 15 April 2009. Porto fans will remember one of the five best goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo as they were on the receiving end of it. The United attacker picked up the ball just inside the Porto half, controlled the ball with his first touch, lined it up with his second and his third traveled over 35 yards into the top left hand corner of the net. United went on to win the quarter final match courtesy of the goal.

Man Utd v Everton, 23 December 2007. The Everton defense packed their own box in an attempt to block Ronaldo's view of goal but the Portuguese star was unfazed and drifted along the top of the box until he found a gap in the thin blue defensive line and let one go. The ball curled beautifully over the Evertonian defenders, and drifted in to the top left hand corner, agonizingly out of the reach of his former United team mate, Tim Howard. It remains one of the five best Cristiano Ronaldo goals.
- Portugal v North Korea, 21 June 2010. North Korea decided to show their match against Portugal live on television after the North Korean side had given Brazil a run for their money. Rumors suggested that Kim Jong-Il himself came up with the tactical plan to beat the Portuguese side but obviously the North Korean dictators plan didn't involve preventing a new entry into the list of Cristiano Ronaldo's five best goals. The attack minded star broke loose on the edge of the Korean penalty area and as the keeper tried to take the ball from him it went up in the air before Ronaldo controlled it with the small of his back.
- Man Utd v Sporting Lisbon, 19 September 2007. When Cristiano Ronaldo isn't scoring some of his best goals for Portugal he is scoring them against Portuguese club sides and his former team Sporting Lisbon were on the wrong end of a spectacular diving header during the champions league fixture against United. Ronaldo was practically horizontal as the ball crossed the line and qualified as another entry for our list of Cristiano Ronaldo's best goals.
- Real Madrid v Xerez, 20 September 2009. If there were a way to xerox Ronaldo then the Xerez coach probably would because nobody on his team had a chance of winning this game once the Portuguese star got involved. Cristiano got the ball on the right side of the box and drifted round a couple of defenders before finishing with a deft chip that left the keeper with no chance. We could keep this article going and going with more spectacular strikes but this list has to wrap up now as we have completed our list showing Cristiano Ronaldo's five best goals.
