- Her words just don’t match up with her ad. The first sign of dangers of online dating is the discrepancies between her words and ad. For example, her ad has stated the following facts such as: 21-year-old, single, never been married, no kids, freshman in college, etc. But when you chat with her, she says that she is a single mom with 2 kids and works at a grocery store as a cashier. You better watch out what her next move is because she will keep lying to you in order to get something from you later on.

Unless you are in a solid relationship with her, then that is total different story. However, if you have just met her, she probably is a scam artist. Let’s say both of you are having a good conversation. Unexpectedly, she asks you for financial help because she just gets robbed in a foreign country, and has no money flying back to the States. She will say if you are truly interested in her, you must give her your banking information immediately. Or else, she wouldn’t talk to you anymore.
- She cyberstalks and harasses you. The last sign of dangers of online dating is you become the victim of cyberstalking and harassment. Here is the situation: A woman from the dating site you have subscribed has a crush on you, but you have no interest in her at all. Therefore, you have turned down all her chat requests. Now she is very obsessed with you. Sadly speaking, she happens to know a hacking gadget which allows her follow you around whenever you are online. If you have put your physical contact information on the site, she will come get you in person sooner or later. The scariest thing is that she might carry a weapon with her.
