Date A Cougar

You should date a cougar if you want to experience the advantages of associating with svelte and wise ladies. Older chicks tend to be less needy; they are busy with their advanced careers and perhaps taking care of her kids or elderly parents. Many older women are willing cook. It is less socially taboo among older women to cook for their man. Expect to wake up to four-cheese omelets and homemade organic smoothies; and go to bed with prime rib steak and garlic mashed potatoes digesting in your belly. Cougars are likely to have more money. Again, they should be advanced in their careers. They should be past the stage where they think it is cute to be poor, working in coffee shops. Or maybe her pops, a prominent petroleum engineer, recently kicked the bucket. Last, the best reason to date a cougar is the sex; they love it. Blame hormones. Their bodies are on “last call” to make babies before menopause sets in. Cougars’ cervices are eager to gobble up sperm before they turn 45, like young women are eager to gobble up their margaritas before it turns 2:45.

  1. Find a cougar den. You’re not going to date a cougar hanging out in bars that have wet t-shirt contests in the volleyball pit out in the back. Look for bars with long wine lists, dark wooden fireplaces, luxury cars parked out front, and within a few blocks from an Ann Taylor Loft.
  2. Refine your tastes. You don’t need to give up videogames and poker nights, but to date a cougar you need to diversify your interests. Learn to enjoy wine, plays, blues and jazz, seafood, museums, and staying in bed and breakfasts. When you take them out, don’t keep them out too long, they may have one of those trendy exercise classes in the morning, such as pilates.
  3. Be emotionally and financially secure. Older women tend to know what they want. Be the man who can give her the things she wants. To date a cougar you should have high self-esteem and a stable career. You need to pay attention to her emotional needs and find ways to keep her content.
  4. Make her feel attractive. We live in an ageist society. We also live in a society that overvalues looks in women. Many older women feel insecure about their bodies, just like young women. Tell her that she’s sexy and beautiful. When you date a cougar, avoid taking her to places that are dominated by young women. Take her to places that are dominated by much older women instead. Whenever she sees a 75 year-old woman’s feet in sandals, she will worry less about her crow’s feet.
