You may have the preconceived notion that when you become a couple, dating gets a little boring, that perhaps you don’t continue to have fun and exciting dates, which is far from the truth. Relationships need to constantly grow and be nurtured in order for you to remain a couple. That won't happen if all the two of you do is sit around the house watching TV. The relationship will start to fizzle out from boredom and neglect. However, with these date ideas, you will be a couple that has a lot of fun together.

  1. Take your date to a comedy club. After you enter into a relationship, going to night clubs is pretty much out. Of course, you can go to comedy night and have a few good laughs. You will be sitting at a table with a relaxing atmosphere and no loud music playing. You will be able to hear and enjoy her company.
  2. Plan a picnic right before the sun sets. Certain places are great for watching the sun set. You just have to find the perfect place for watching the sun set, maybe somewhere a little secluded, and set up a picnic. This would be great for couples who want to have some alone time.

  3. Go to a drive-in movie theater. Don’t think that going to a drive-in is only for teenagers that want to make out while on a date. Cuddling up at a drive-in movie theater is for couples of any age. You can have a little excitement while watching a good movie.
  4. Have fun at an amusement park. Even if you don’t have kids, that doesn’t mean you can’t be a kid at heart. Show her what a big strong man you are when you win her that teddy bear. She’ll want to get close when she is frightened on a ride. There are rides for couples who may get the idea of trying to sneak in a little kissing where no one can see.

  5. Take a cooking class set up for two. There are places you can go if you want it to just be an intimate class for couples. It would be a great idea to learn to cook an exotic meal. Then, have a romantic table setting where you could enjoy the meal the two of you prepared together, while feeding each other. This would be a fun date for couples.
  6. Sporting events. Don’t exclude her from sporting events because you prefer to take a friend instead. Invite her to one of your favorite sporting events. This would be a good idea, because it’s a nice way for you to enjoy what your date likes to do, which would also bring you closer together.

You now have some simple and inexpensive ideas for couples to have some fun. It’s time to pull your girl off the sofa and take her out on a date.
