5. Understand the best shot to take when hunting deer. Deer hunters should know when and where to take the shot. Frontal deer shots are risky to take when using a bow but good when using a firearm. A straight down shot requires proper angle to take the perfect shot for the target. The quartering away shot is perhaps the best and most humane shot to take when deer hunting while a rear deer shot should be avoided. For beginners it is important to train and learn the various shots in deer hunting before actually going in the field to hunt. This will eliminate errors and promotes responsible deer hunting activity.
