Learning about how to delete friends on Facebook will allow users to rid themselves of former friends who no longer have any desired part in your personal, social networking life. Deleting friends on Facebook can be easy to do with a little practice, but can seem like a daunting task at first. Combine not having deleted a Facebook user before along with harassing friends, and deleting Facebook friends can seem like a very stressful task. But with the right tools, you’ll be able to accomplish your goal of deleting friends off of Facebook.

To delete friends off Facebook, you’ll need the following items:

  • Internet connection
  • Reliabe computer access
  • Facebook.com
  1. Check twice, delete once. Before you delete any of your friends off Facebook, give the decision thorough thought and time before you act. If you’re mad at a friend for a misunderstanding, consider talking to the friend in-depth on Facebook, over the telephone, or in person before making your decision. It’s harder to re-add friends after deleting them; especially since you’ll have to deal with the issue at hand along with explaining why you deleted your friend in the first place.
  2. Log on. After you’ve decided whether or not you’re going to delete any former friend(s) of yours on Facebook, the next step is to log on to Facebook. To do this, turn on your computer and wait for it to boot up. Next, connect to your internet and open your internet browser. After you’ve opened your internet browser, go to the top of the web page and type in facebook.com and hit enter/go. After logging in, you’ll be taken to your customized homepage where you can make crucial edits to your page.
  3. Delete your friends. Once you’re connected and logged in, you’ll be ready to delete any former friend(s) of yours off Facebook. To do this, begin by visiting your profile. Next, click on your account and select “Edit Friends,” which will give you a drop down of your friends. To delete a friend, click on the “X” on the far right of the friend in question that you’ll be deleting. Hit the “X” and hit confirm to delete the friend in question. After you’ve done this, you’ll have successfully deleted the friend(s) in question from your page.

Once you get the hang of it, it’ll be easy for you to delete friends from your Facebook. Make sure that you delete friends only when it’s no longer fathomable that the relationship can be salvaged. Deleting troublesome friends from your page can make Facebook not only more enjoyable, but will help you to keep a good core of close friends!
