It is very important in basketball to stick to two-handed passes, as these passes give you the most control over the ball. By trying to pass the ball with one hand, you are leaving yourself vulnerable to turnovers.

  1. Two-Handed Chest Pass. The two-handed chest pass, one of the types of basketball passes, involves the player passing the basketball from chest level. To perform a two-handed chest pass, you want to quickly extend your forearms and snap your wrists. It is very important to make sure that your thumbs are pointing in a downward direction when completing a two-handed chest pass, because the end result will be a back spin on the basketball. The back spin helps to keep the basketball from spinning in an unwanted direction.
  2. Two-Handed Over The Head Pass. The two-handed over the head pass is completed with a player being in a basic basketball stance. The player will raises his arms over his head and fully extend them. When completing a two-handed over the head pass, one of the types of basketball passes, you want to quickly snap your wrist and fingers while making sure that your elbows do not bend. The key to successfully completing this basketball pass is to pass the ball with a bit of force. You do not want to lob the ball, as this makes it easier for the other team to grab the basketball.
  3. Two-Handed Chest Bounce Pass. The final type of basketball pass on this list is the two-handed chest bounce pass. The two-handed chest bounce pass is almost identical to the two-handed chest pass. The only difference is that instead of passing the ball through the air, the ball will be bounced on the basketball court. The execution of this basketball pass is the same as the execution of the two-handed chest pass. The ball should be bounced from chest level, and there should be enough movement on the ball so that it bounces to the chest level of the receiving player.
