Dress Like A Star

Once you begin to dress like a star you also begin to feel like a star. Stars and celebrities are on different levels and this is shown through the way that they dress. Beyonce and Jay-Z are stars, Kim Kardashian and whoever she dates are celebrities. Stars have no problem dressing the way that they do because they make more than the average person makes in a lifetime in a year. However, you can grab key pieces from Stars like George Clooney and Johnny Depp and use them in your own way. Here are a few steps that will get you dressing like a Star in no time.

To dress like a Star, you will need:

  • creativity
  • extra time
  1. Find out what your style is. Use a men's fashion magazine like "GQ" to determine what are the type of things that you like. You do not have to wear the same type of clothing everyday but figure out what you like most. Also look for stars that you admire when it comes to fashion. If you already know what you like then you can skip this step.
  2. Go to department stores like Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Ave. In some cases you do not need to buy really expensive clothes to dress like a star. In other cases when you spend more money on items you can tell that the quality is much better. For red carpets stars are known for wearing thousands of dollars worth of clothing. The tuxedos that the stars wear are immaculate, but there are several times where tuxedos at cheaper department store look better than the thousand dollar one that they are wearing.
  3. Do not try too hard. Keep in mind the saying "the clothes don't make the man, the man makes the clothes". If you try too hard by buying hundreds of dollars of expensive clothes and shoes when you can barely afford it then that defeats the point. Wear what Stars wear, but stay true to your style as well.

In most cases you will not be able dress like a star from head to toe, but it is worth the time in trying.
