Early Signs Of Heart Attack

Early signs of heart attacks creep up slowly. Becoming ill and having a heart attack is a process of little things going on for a period of time of ignoring what seems to be a case of indigestion or having arm pain, thinking it is just a sprain. Upper abdominal pain can appear to be indigestion when really these may be the sign of a heart attack. Getting checked is the best medicine; simple accumulations of heart attack signs can prove to be anything but a good day.

  1. Nausea or vomiting for no visible reason seems like an intestinal disorder but, in fact, is a sign of heart attack. Dizziness may even be involved with the symptoms; more than one symptom can develop at once. Nausea and dizziness rings a loud bell.
  2. Difficulty breathing is also a sign of a heart attack. Finding it hard to catch a good breath is a sign to take serious note of. The heart can find collecting oxygen difficult during activities.
  3. A sudden headache or having jaw aches for no sensible reason. This can be a sign that blood flow has somehow been affected. Often, people think of migraines and not heart attacks.
  4. Experiencing pressure on the chest is a sign many people have heard. Pressure on any point of the body means things have gone wrong. If arteries are clogged, this pressure will have great difficulty finding a way through.
  5. A serious squeezing pressure on the chest is a sign most talked about, but keep a watch for all signs of heart attack. Having a check up is not too much; taking care of health needs is always wise.
  6. Profuse sweating, which many older women may see as hot flashes, is also a sign of heart attack. Check with a doctor and make sure it is only menopause being felt or a symptom of something else and not a heart problem.
  7. Pain running down the arm where there is no exertion. Note: blood pressure is taken on the left arm; if blood flow in the heart is problematic, the arms will reflect it.
  8. Pain in the upper back or shoulder area can be a classic sign, but is often ignored as stress. No one likes to think of back pain of any kind as more than a strain, but pain is the body’s early warning system.
  9. Being ill for no valid reason could be due to the heart not circulating the way it should. Many things make the body feel bad, but if constipation is not a valid reason for a lack of vitality, heart problems may be the culprit.
  10. Chest pain is the one thing most people have ignored and sloughed off as nothing. Any chest problems, such as indigestion, can easily be a sign of a heart attack and could be doing irreparable damage to the heart.
