Mexican Burger

What you will need:

  • 1½ pounds of ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons of ice water
  • 2 tablespoons of salsa
  • ¼ cup of crushed tortilla chips; low-fat
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon of chili powder

How to make it:

  1. Prepare these great tasting burgers on a grill just like you would normally. Make sure they are on a wire rack.
  2. Grill the burgers, turning them once during the cooking. This should take about 8-10 minutes tops.
  3. Enjoy this great tasting burger with an interesting and flavorful bite every time.

 

Banana Bread

What you will need:

  • 1 cup of Estee Fructose (or any other sugar substitute)
  • ½ cup of low fat margarine
  • 2 tablespoons of skim milk
  • 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1½ cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon of baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda

How to make it:

  1. Cream the sugar substitute and margarine. Preheat your oven to 350º F.
  2. Add the egg whites, milk and bananas to the mixture. Make sure it is blended very well.
  3. Fold into the banana mix the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Make sure it is mixed well.
  4. Bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes. Make sure it is done, but not dry. Enjoy!
