Easy Photoshop tutorials are important for any newcomer to the Adobe product so that they can learn to use the different features and effects. Some aspiring graphic artists choose to teach themselves how to use Photoshop, but this is not always possible for everyone, as the way to learn depends on the individual.

  1. Changing eye color. This is an easy Photoshop tutorial that most people think is difficult. Open a picture in Photoshop and zoom in on the eye. Use the "Zoom" tool or click "Z" on your keyboard to access it. Click on the "Brush" tool and make it an appropriate size for your liking. Also, adjust the hardness to a percentage you are comfortable with. Choose the "Quick Mask" tool and note that everything but the eye will be selected. Go to "Select" and "Inverse" so that the iris is now selected, then press "Ctrl" and "J" to create a new layer. Next, hit "Ctrl" and "B" for color balance, and you can choose any color you want.
  2. Blur and overlay effect. This is another easy Photoshop tutorial that anyone can do. Create a duplicate of a picture in Photoshop by right-clicking on it and selecting "Duplicate." Go to "Filter," "Blur" and "Gaussian Blur." This will blur out everything in the image. Next, go to the layers palette and choose "Overlay" for your blending mode. You will now be able to notice that the tones in your picture are brighter and darker, which adds more contrast.
  3. Neon glow. Duplicate an image in Photoshop and then go to "Filter," "Artistic" and "Neon Glow." You can change the color to add with the effect. Set the glow size to a number of your choosing. This is a very easy Photoshop effect that anyone can quickly learn.
  4. Easy blur. This is another very easy Photoshop tutorial that even beginners can learn to do. Open a photo in Photoshop and go to "Filter," "Blur" and select "Gaussian Blur." You will notice the picture will go quite blurry. Set the opacity to 50 percent, and you will notice that the picture has softened somewhat.
