Eminem Recovery Tracklist
Critics and fans alike rated the Eminem "Recovery" tracklist as being way better than his "Relapse" album. Heck, even Eminem himself admits it in “Not Afraid.” So if you’re looking for the best Eminem songs to listen to off of his "Recovery" album, here they are in all their glory.
- “Love the Way You Lie” It doesn’t matter if you like Rihanna or not. Rihanna and Eminem both totally kill it on this hit single. It’s a great summertime song – perhaps because the lyrics tend to heat things up a bit in the anger department.
-
“Cold Wind Blows” Eminem calls out superheroes and super-nemesis in this song, which really didn’t get much radio play. He talks about Aquaman and Bruce Banner while hating on Elton John, Mariah and doing who-knows-what with Michael Vick’s name. Basically, this is Mathers’ ego trip rap.
-
“Space Bound” What Eminem "Recovery" tracklist would be complete without listing his sing-along, “Space Bound”? This one is almost so sweet it’s tender, until Eminem threatens to shoot himself if the girl leaves. Yep, that’s Eminem’s alter ego for you.
-
“Not Afraid” Riddled with expletives and angst from a bad upbringing, Eminem cites himself as being the king and overcomer of everything rap music. Not surprising for someone who often likes to go on ego road trips.
-
“Won’t Back Down” Featuring P!nk, naturally. Who else’s coarse female overtones could so grittily add to a track? It’s really not the best on the "Recovery" tracklist, but it’s not bad, either.
-
“No Love” This "Recovery" tracklist addition is super-cool, period. Not only because it’s Eminem, but because he included a sample of Haddaway’s “What Is Love (Baby, Don’t Hurt Me)” on the track. Epic awesomeness right there.
-
“So Bad” The fat bass beat in this rap makes this a song you can hustle around town in with the suspension riding low on your car. Of course, don’t be shocked if the cops give you some nasty looks as you blare the lyrics of “So Bad” out your window.
-
“On Fire” Just when you thought Eminem was running out of samples, he found another one. “On Fire” features Madill’s “Peace and Love,” for what that’s worth.
-
“W.T.P” In case you were wondering what “WTP” stands for, Eminem will tell you. It’s stands for “white trash party,” and that’s basically what the whole song is about. Just don’t try this at home, guys.
-
“Talking 2 Myself” One of the best features on the album, Eminem invites Kobe to the track, and he helps add a little oomph to the song that would be blatantly lacking otherwise. It’s definitely one of the best Eminem songs on the Recovery tracklist.
