1. Mafia Wars One of the multiplayer Zynga titles not geared towards younger gamers, Mafia Wars allows you to start a crime family and start working your way to becoming a mob boss. To succeed in the underworld, you must complete tasks to gain money and experience points. The game play is simple, in that, to complete a task, all that is required is the click of a button. Each task is assigned a number of energy points required to complete it. As long as you have enough energy, you can complete the task and move up in the family. Along the way, you collect items such as pipe bombs, guns, automobiles and articles of clothing. Mafia Wars is fun if you are looking for a game that requires next to no thought at all.

2. Zombie Hooker Nightmare Adult Swim Games offers a unique twist on the zombie game. In this free Facebook game, you play as a hooker trying to survive a zombie attack, while at the same time trying to find “work” by luring johns back to your trailer. The game play is fairly easy, using the keyboard direction pad for movement and the space bar to attack. You can pick up shovels, Molotov cocktails, golf clubs and even skulls to fight off the undead. The flash based graphics are simple, but the game’s fun factor more than makes up for it.

Stickshot While the animation and graphics on this game may be bare minimum, Stickshot gives you the chance to let your stress fade away as you use a sniper rifle to take out little stick figures in different scenarios. Your stick figure character is a retired assassin who picks up his sniper rifle once again when the money he’s tried to earn as a civilian starts running out. Using the space bar to zoom in with the scope and your mouse to fire the rifle, you are given missions in which you must take out drug runners and gang members, while avoiding civilian casualties or, worse, your own.

4. Battle of Britain During World War II, intense strikes and battles took place in the air over Great Britain as the Allies tried to fight off the invading Nazis. In this game, you take the controls as a pilot in the 303 Squadron. Game controls are kept simple, with the left and right buttons of the direction pad being used to turn the plane, the “z” button used for throttle and the “x” button used to fire your machine guns. You can participate in dogfights, a campaign mode and unlock other planes by achieving certain goals in the game. Considering this game is free, the graphics and game play are superb.

5. WSOP Poker Like many of the available online poker games, Facebook’s WSOP Poker gives you the chance to sit at a table and test your poker playing skills against people from around the world. Earn chips with each winning hand and try to become the chip leader among your Facebook friends. If they aren’t playing, you can invite them. Just remember, when it comes to cards, you have to know when to hold them and know when to fold them.
