Facebook Symbols For Status

If you want to add a little bit of fun or emotion to your personal Facebook posts, you will want to learn the Facebook symbols for status. You can always use the everyday emoticons such as a smile :-),  a frown :-(, or  heart <3, but did you know that you can create twenty different Facebook symbols for status with the numbered pad on the right side of your key board (the ten key pad)? All you need to know is the codes contained in the list below!

To create Facebook symbols for status updates you will need.:

• active Facebook account.

1. To create a white smiley face. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "1".
2. To create a black smiley face. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press  "2".
3. To create a heart. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "3".
4. To create a diamond. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "4".
5. To create a (playing card type) club. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "5".

8. To create a box with a white dot. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "8".

11. To create a "male" symbol. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "11".

14. To create a double note. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "14".

16. To create a right arrow (triangle). Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "16".
17. To create a left arrow (triangle). Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "17".
18. To create a double ended arrow (up and down). Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "18".
19. To create a double exclamation point. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "19".
20. To create a paragraph mark. Hold down the "alt" key. Then press "20".
