Cheats for "Fallout 3" allow PS3 gamers the best chance to overcome the numerous hazards in the wasteland in order to complete quests from the locals. PS3's "Fallout 3" is a classic for many gamers who look for the challenge of an apocalyptic landscape, so cheats do come in handy at times. The Wasteland in "Fallout 3" has Super Mutants, the Enclave, slavers and raiders battling for supremacy of the DC ruins, and PS3 cheats are a must to overcome the odds. "Fallout 3" cheats for the PS3 take the difficulty of traversing the desolate Wasteland out of the equation for gamers.
- Rack Up Caps/Gear with Vendors. Go to a shop anywhere in the wasteland and make sure you have an item, preferably a weapon not at 100 percent condition, that the vendor also has in their inventory. Sell the item and then buy back the item of lesser value of the two in the vendors inventory. Repeat this process. There is a glitch where you will sell it for a high value to the vendor with the difference adding to your caps each time. Continue not only to gain all the vendors caps, but also buy their items like Stimpaks, armor or weapons.
- Gain Infinite Experience. Travel to Big Town and find a townsfolk by the name of Pappy. Choose the dialogue option during the conversation "You came here with Bittercup, right?" Gain six experience points for choosing this option then repeat the conversation with that option each time to continue gaining experience to reach the maximum level. Note: Pappy may not have that dialogue option available, so find Bittercup in the same town and go through her entire conversation and then speak with Pappy. Make sure your Speech skill is at the required level for success, because if not then the glitch will never work again if it results in a failure.
- Find Friends. The wasteland can be a lonely place. There are opportunities to gain a companion to fight the numerous enemies depending on your Karma level. Here are a list of where to find them: Butch is located at Rivet City (Neutral Karma); Sgt. RI-3 is available for purchase from the vendor named Tinker (Neutral Karma); Fawkes lives at Vault 87 (Good Karma); Star Paladin Cross resides at the Citadel (Good Karma); Jericho can be found in Megaton (Evil Karma); Clover is a slave purchased in Paradise Falls (Evil Karma); Charon is available after buying the contract from Ahzrukhal in Underworld (Good, Bad or Neutral Karma); and Dogmeat is a fiesty dog at the Scrap Yard (Good, Bad or Neutral Karma).
