  1. Find a Buddy. The Wastleland can test even the toughest loner's skills but there are opportunities to gain a buddy in certain locations and one's Karma status. Charon is available once you buy his contract in the Underworld (Karma not applicable). Clover can be purchased in Paradise Falls (Evil Karma). Dogmeat is located in the Scrapyard (Karma not applicable). Jericho is located at the city of Megaton (Evil Karma). Butch is avaible after finsihing the "Trouble on the Homefront" quest in Rivet City (Neutral Karma). Sergeant RI-3 is purchased from the Tinker (Neutral Karma). Star Paladin Cross is located at the Citadel (Good Karma). Fawkes is available once rescued in Vault 87 (Good Karma).
  2. Locate Jack the Ripper. Unlike the infamous serial killer, there is a suped up version of the Ripper weapon in "Fallout 3." Head to the lower portion of the Deathclaw Sanctuary to find a bunch of dead bodies. The fallen Enclave soldier next to the giant ant has the Jack the Ripper that you can acquire and tear through multiple enemies.
  3. Gain Infinite Caps. Walk into any town and find a local vendor's shop and make sure you have a high price item such as a weapon that is not 100% in condition and also is sold by the vendor too. Sell the item to the vendor then buy back the cheapest of the two in their inventory. Repeat the process until you notice the item becomes more expensive that when you originally sold it. The difference in cap will add to your total until you empty out their caps.
  4. Obtain the Prototype Medic Power Armor. Travel to the Deathclaw infested town of Old Olney and go to the southern most street to find a manhole. Venture into the sewer tunnels until you reach a ladder. Bypass it to find a dead Brotherhood of Steel soldier and take the Prototype Medic Power Armor. Now, your limbs will be healed automatically with available Med-X as well as talk to you during your travels!
