Fells Point Restaurants
Look for Fell’s Point restaurants and find one of the most historic districts in Baltimore, Maryland. Previously an area heavily populated by Irish immigrants, the maritime location is studded with Irish pubs, one-of-a-kind eateries and home-made fast food joints. Which are the absolute best Fell’s Point restaurants right now? Opinions differ with respect to line order, but most everyone is sure to agree on the picks.
- Pier Point Restaurant. Located at 1822 Aliceanna Street, this eatery is one of the Fell’s Point restaurants you don’t want to miss out on. It is of special interest to the unabashedly metro-sexual male who is ready to give modern Maryland gastronomy and old-fashioned down-home cooking a try. Shellfish features big on this menu, but so do lamb chops and tenderloin dishes.
- Restaurante El Trovador. Visit this gem of Mexican Fell’s Point restaurants at 318 South Broadway. This is the type of place to introduce to the family. Portions border on huge and prices are relatively low. Weeknights are not as busy, and it is easy to get your pick of a good table.
- Asahi Sushi Restaurant. If you’re out with a date, head over to 514 South Broadway Street. Personable but not intimate, trendy without being weird, this is the sushi place among Fell’s Point restaurants where even first time raw fish eaters feel comfortable. Sashimi and sushi are the main treats, but there are also vegetarian delights for the man whose date suddenly discovers her inner vegan.
- One-Eyed Mike's Restaurant. Blatantly American in its culinary offerings, pick out this eatery from among Fell’s Point restaurants at 708 South Bond Street. Its pirate theme is probably going to make it a lot more popular in the wake of Johnny Depp’s latest Caribbean caper, but five-alarm chili, blackened tuna and meatloaf sandwiches are sure to have eaters come back time and again. It can be a man’s place, a family eatery or just the quick food on the go locale; you decide.
- Captain James Crab House. Go back to where you started--this time the address is 2121 Aliceanna Street--and take a look around. Steamed crabs are a favorite crowd pleaser. Add a pitcher of ice-cold beer, and you are good to settle down for the evening.
Are there other excellent Fell’s Point restaurants? You bet! But these are certainly the cream of the crop.
