First Person Shooter Games Online
Try out these first-person shooter games online when you want to game with other people. First-person shooter games are extremely popular online. Most first-person shooter games are extremely easy to just jump in to and play. From realism to cartoon violence, first-person shooter games cover pretty much any type of gameplay you can think of.
- "Team Fortress 2." "Team Fortress 2" is the extremely popular online first-person shoot developed by Valve. It is a team based shooter, featuring nine different classes, ranging from the ridiculously fast scout to the usual rocket-launching soldier archetype. This first-person shooter features a ton of different online modes, such as capture the flag, king of the hill, control point and payload. The graphic style is very unique for an online shooter, featuring a very cartoony, comic-book look. Whether you are a hardcore player or just casual, you will definately have fun with "Team Fortress 2."
- "Call of Duty: Black Ops." "Black Ops" is one of the heavy-weights of online first-person shooter games. The game is based around a more realistic setting, mainly set during and featuring weapons from the Vietnam/Cold war era. Although the setting is realistic, the gameplay is still twitch-based instead of going for realism. This first person shooter is very easy to jump into online, but can be somewhat daunting. It can be quite easy for one person to just completely dominate. Once you get the hang of the game, "Black Ops" is definately a solid first-person online shooter game.
- "Counter Strike." "Counter Strike" may be pretty old these days, but it is still one of the most popular online first-person shooter games. Both original and source versions have tons of people playing them. The game is based around a bomb defusal mode, with no respawns until the bomb is either diffused, set off or everyone on one team dies. The guns are realistic, featuring AK47's and M16's. The games are extremely old, and the people who play them are insanely good now. If you do not mind dying horribly until you get better, both versions of "Counter Strike" are great online first-person shooter games.
