Frozen Margarita Recipe

Want a delicious frozen margarita recipe? Everyone loves frozen margaritas, especially with Mexican food. Here's a frozen margarita recipe that you can make anytime for your friends.

What you need for this easy frozen margarita recipe:

  • one can of frozen limeade
  • 4 tbsp. Cointreau
  • 2 quarts of ice cubes
  • 12 ounces tequila
  • margarita salt
  • Blender
  1. Put 1/2 of ice cubes in blender. Start by just doing one quart of the ice cubes - you'll be making this recipe in two batches.
  2. Add 1/2 can of limeade concentrate. Scoop 1/2 of the limeade out of the can and into the blender as well.
  3. Add 1/2 of the tequila. Add six ounces of tequila to the ice and limeade in the blender.
  4. Add 1/2 of the Cointrea. Add 2 tbsp of Cointrea to the blender also.
  5. Blend on high. Put the top on the blender and blend on high until well-mixed.
  6. Pour into pitcher. Pour the mixture into a pitcher.
  7. Repeat. Do entire process again with the remaining ingredients to make the second batch.
  8. Salt glasses. Pour some salt onto a small plate, dip rim of each glass first in water and then into the salt.
  9. Pour margaritas. Carefully pour the margaritas into each glass. Try not to disturb the salt ring when doing this.
  10. Store. Any leftovers can be stored in the freezer.

That's all there is to this easy frozen margarita recipe. Using limeade is a nice short cut so you don't have to deal with the time and expense of fresh limes. Impress your guests next time with these fast and delicious margaritas.
