Looking for a fruity summer cocktail recipe? Summer is the season for juicy peaches, sweet watermelon, and luscious pineapples so combine them in a fruity summer cocktail recipe. Whip up a blender of Summer Temptations full of fruit with a kick. For each serving of Summer Temptations you will need:
- Peach 1
- Watermelons - 1/2 individual mini melon
- Pineapple slice
- Lime juice
- Fresh red hot pepper, use Anaheim for less heat, cayenne or Thai for more heat
- Vodka 2 ounces
- Blender
- Cayenne pepper
- Knife
- Tall glasses
- Straw
- Spoon
- Bowl
- Cut a very thin slice off the bottom and top of the individual sized watermelons. Cut in half and scoop out the flesh. Place the empty halves upside down on a cookie sheet and put in the fridge. That's the first step in our fruity summer cocktail recipe.
- Peel the peach.
- Put the watermelon flesh, peach, red pepper, juice from one lime, and the pineapple slice in a blender. Puree until smooth.
- Measure one cup of the fruit puree and add 2 ounces of vodka. Puree again. Place in the freezer until serving time. The fruity summer cocktail recipe mixture should get slushy but won't freeze through because of the vodka.
- Place a watermelon half in a bowl. Fill with one cup of the Summer Temptation fruity summer cocktail recipe. Garnish with an edible flower if you like and serve with a spoon and straw.
- Serve the fruity summer cocktail recipe in tall glasses with an iced tea spoon instead of in the watermelon half. Garnish the glasses with wedges of watermelon, peach slice and pineapple Dusted with cayenne pepper.
