G-Star Shorts: How To Wash

Curious about your G-Star shorts and how to wash them? Washing your G-Star shorts can be a very simple process if all the proper steps are taken. Most people feel like they can simply throw all their clothes in the washing machine, turn it on without taking regard to the type of fabric they are washing, and then wonder why some of their clothes are ragged now. Well if you are in need of some direction on how to wash your G-Star shorts, you’re in luck! Follow this step-by-step process and you can have clean shorts, and no damage, in no time!

To wash G-Star shorts, you will need:

  • Your G-Star shorts
  • Laundry detergent
  • A washing machine or a sink.
  1. Before deciding the best method to wash your G-Star shorts, locate the tag (most likely above where your butt goes) and read the care guide. In most instances shorts will be machine washable in warm water with like colors, but in some cases they are hand-wash or dry-clean only, depending on the fabric.
  2. Once you have read the tag, prepare your washing machine with water and detergent. If no tag could be found, the best way to wash your shorts is to hand wash them. If hand washing is necessary, simply fill a sink with warm water and add about a tablespoon of laundry detergent to the water.
  3. Allow your washing machine to finish its cycle, and either hang dry your G-Star shorts or put them in the dryer until dry. If hand washing, gently rub out any stains, or food deposits, and then let the water out of the sink. Wring out any excess water, and rinse your shorts in warm, clear water. Wring out excess water again, and either hang dry or put in the dryer!
