Good Facebook Statuses After Break Ups

Although it's much better to be mature and just move on when your relationship ends, there are some good Facebook statuses after break ups. Depending on who is your viewing audience, the first thing you might want to do is un-friend you ex. This will prevent your previous lover from viewing items on your Facebook wall. But, then again, you might want to strike out at your ex and allow full access.

1. If you're feeling particularly nasty, a good Facebook status after a break up is "F**k you bitch, give me back my sweater." This Facebook status should have your ex throwing all of the items you gave her in a box and leaving them on your door step. Hopefully, she won't be standing there with a loaded gun after reading this status.
2. For those of you feeling a bit nostalgic and suffering a blow after a breakup, you might want a Facebook status of "Single (again...sigh)." This Facebook status indicates that you're back on the market...again. Hopefully, this break up status will get your Facebook friends rallying around you and you might even get a date.
3. For those men out there who broke off an engagement, how about a Facebook status of "Gave her back; now to get the ring...." Of course, a ring given in the promise of marriage is legally yours to keep but that's beside the point. She might not go so gently when you ask for the ring. Be careful also of posting this as it could be admissible in a court of law.
4. For a bit of humor, how about a Facebook status after a break up of "Eh, I always liked my dog better anyway." Dogs are generally non-restrictive in their love, unlike your human partner may have been. So, go for a long walk, take the pooch to a dog park and go meet another dog lover this time around.
