Google Desktop Gadgets

Are you looking for Google desktop gadgets? There are many Google desktop gadgets, from that of displaying the time, to the weather, to even the ability to check and read your Gmail inbox. Google desktop is easy to find, by going to the main website and downloading the application. After installation, you'll be able to get started right away with the default gadgets such as the standard analog clock, weather gadget, picture viewer, and news gadget. 

1. Gmail  - The Gmail gadget allows for the viewing of your Gmail inbox, as well as the ability to compose and delete emails right from the desktop.
2. Google Calendar - This allows for the viewing and adding of events within your Google calendar, again right from your desktop.
3. Weather Globe - There are a variety of weather gadgets that will allow you to view the weather. Popular ones include the Weather Globe, which is a snow globe that displays the weather and that of the default gadget.
4. Digital Clock - If having a cell phone or using your computer's time has gotten you used to looking at a digital clock, you can replace the default analog one with that of the Digital Retro Clock.

Using Google desktop gadgets is a great alternative to the built in sidebar of Windows or the dock of Mac, allowing for greater customization for the user in terms of what they want on their desktop and how they want their information. This works extremely well if say using an Android tablet instead of a desktop or laptop.
