The Guitar Hero song list has made music an integral part of family entertainment. With artists such as Ozzie Osborn, mainstream greats like Cream, and indie bands such as Freezepop, "Guitar Hero" has a set list that is very impressive. A list of the best songs in the original "Guitar Hero" has been compiled.

  1. Ozzie Osbourne - "Bark at the Moon" This song is one of Ozzie's greatest and easily recognizable. It is easy to recognize the tune, although one of the most difficult to play.
  2. Audioslave - "Cochise" A very fun song to play, Audioslave offers up one of their best know songs to the set list. This appeals to a wide variety of gamers and music fans.
  3. Cream - "Crossroads" Considered one of the best blues group, Cream has entered into the set list a classic. This appeals to your parents and does well by introducing many gamers to a classic band.
  4.  Jett - "I Love Rock and Roll" This pretty much sums up the game. If you aren't loving rock and roll, why are you playing this game anyways?
  5. The Ramones - "I Wanna Be Sedated" Considered to be a punk anthem, this song is one that is sung by just about every wanna-be band lead. It is only natural for it to be added to the original "Guitar Hero" set list.
  6. Queen - "Killer Queen" With Queen being one of the best bands of all time, this song adds a lot to the list. It adds a great amount variety to the game, with some much needed sing-along fun.
