Hair Styles For Short Hair
Hair styles for short hair are popular with men and women. Anthropologists trace the rise in popularity of short hair styles back to the invention of the tetanus vaccine. Ancient barbers used iron tools that rusted quickly. Improper cleaning methods made the blades that the barbers used into a bacterial breeding ground. Today, we use the more sensible method of not having our barbers perform surgery to reduce malpractice suits.
- The buzz cut. While the bald look is an acceptable style, especially for men, you cannot really call it a hair cut. A simple buzz cut shaved close to the head can give a person a fresh, just got out of boot camp look.
- The mullet. The mullet is the perfect hair style for people who do not want to spend too much time on grooming. The mullet, a hair style worn by the protagonist of the movie "Joe Dirt," features short hair in the front and long hair in the back.
- The layered look. The layered look is not as popular as it once was. To achieve this look, the person shaves the lowest part of his head, and the thickness of the hair increases as the hair reaches the top of a person's head.
- The mop-top hair style. The Mmp-top, also called the Beatles' haircut, requires your hair to go out evenly in all directions. The only requirement is that there is no part in the hair and that the wearer keeps his bangs out of his eyes.
- Parted in the middle. The parted-in-the middle short hair style was sported by the Fonz in the iconic series, "Happy Days." A cool person knows to keep a comb on his person at all times to help maintain it.
