  4. Loose fitting pants and shorts are also on the list of health tips. Men trying to conceive should avoid wearing tight bottoms. Tight clothing pushes the testicles up against the body causing them to heat up. The warmer temperature can reduce the production of sperm and testosterone.
  5. Ideally, the testicles should be slightly cooler than the rest of the body in order for the sperm to function properly. Water temperature is another aspect of the health tips. Men trying to conceive should avoid hot baths and showers, saunas, and Jacuzzis because they can also impair the sperm.

By following these health tips, men trying to conceive will have a much better chance of becoming parents. Lifestyle choices can also affect a woman’s fertility. So it’s important for the man’s partner to also have a healthy diet and avoid drugs and certain medications.
