If you are trying to hide the default picture and everything around it then you are most likely new to this phenomenon that is known as the internet. This query can mean only two things. Either your computer annoys you when you turn it on or your browser's default homepage annoys you. If your computer annoys you when you turn it on, turn it off and go to the library. They have these sets of books called encyclopedias which were the primitive prototypes of the internet. If your browser annoys you when you load that bugger up well then no worries. We can easily alleviate that annoyance. Basically all we are gonna do is change the homepage. You can choose any site you like. Start off your day with porn or Google, it is up to you.

To hide the default picture and everything around it, you will need:

  • The ability to follow instructions
  • The attention span of a really smart gnat
  1. Internet Explorer. First off, go to whatever page you wish to start your day. Now, to hide the default picture and everything around it you will first need to go to 'Tools' in the menu. In 'Tools', choose 'Internet Options' and look for the 'General Tab'. It should already be selected but you never know with those sneaky corporate swine. Now notice the top section with the tiny house that says 'Home page'? Below that is a box and inside that box is the web address of the page that annoys you. Let us change this. Hit the 'Use current' button. This will change the address from the annoying one to the current page you have selected. Now push the 'Ok' button at the bottom and you are done.
  2. Safari. Just like the Windows thing, your first step is to navigate to a page you wish to set as your homepage. In the menu go to 'Preferences' and find the tab called 'General'. Just like Internet Explorer, you can hide the default picture and everything around it by simply hitting the button that says 'Set to current page'. This will change your homepage the next time you fire up the browser. Now click the upper hand red square to exit these changes and you are done.
