How To Add Background To iTouch

Are you getting bored with your wallpaper on your iTouch and want to know how to add a background to an iTouch? One great feature about the iTouch is being able to customize your device to give it a personal and unique touch of your own. You can either use one of the preloaded wallpapers that come on the device or you can add your own background to your iTouch. It is easy and only a few minuets of your time to add a background to an iTouch.

To add a background to an iTouch you need:

• iTouch
• computer
• USB cable

Steps

1. Select a preloaded background on your iTouch. Unlock your device by pressing the "Home" button and then sliding your finger across the bottom of the screen. Go to the "Settings" button on your screen, and from there tap the "Wallpaper" tab once, and then tap it once more. The pictures will come up that you can use as your background. Scroll through the pictures and then select the "Set" button to set the wallpaper to the background you chose.
2. Download wallpaper to your computer. After you download the wallpaper, transfer the wallpaper from your computer to your device using a USB cable. Connect the USB cable to your iTouch and then connect the other end to a USB slot on your computer. Once your computer recognizes your device, select the customized folder from which your iTouch wallpaper is to be set. Synchronize all of the files, and once it is done the selected files will be transferred and placed in the photos library.
3. Set your wallpaper on your iTouch. Select the "Settings" button on your home page, and tap "Wallpaper" in the menu. Choose the "Photo Library" from the options displayed to access your synched photos. Select the photo that you wish to use as your new background on your iTouch. Make any adjustments to the photo necessary by holding your finger on the screen and moving it around to adjust the photo to customize your wallpaper. Press "Set" when you are ready to set the iTouch wallpaper of your choice.
