How To Add Fossil Watch Links
You just purchased a Fossil watch that fits a little snug and you want to know how to add Fossil watch links. If you are thinking about buying a watch that you absolutely love, but that fits a little too tight, this should not stop you from purchasing it. It is easy to add watch links to your Fossil watch so that it can fit comfortably on your wrist. You can easily save money and time by adding a Fossil watch links yourself.
To add Fossil watch links you need:
- Fossil watch links
- pin pusher tool
- pliers
- small light hammer
- Purchase new Fossil watch links. If no additional links came with your Fossil watch, you will need to purchase some. You can call and request some from Fossil or see if there are some available at the store where you purchased the watch.
- Remove a push pin from your Fossil watch. Place your Fossil watch on its side on a smooth, flat surface. Near the clasp you will see the removable watch links. Either on the bottom or top of the watch, place the pin pusher tool on the head of the first pin. Lightly tap the pin with the small hammer until it begins to slide out of the link. Use pliers to finish pulling the link out from the band.
- Add the new Fossil watch links. Put the new link over the hinge from where you just removed the pin from. Carefully insert a link pin in the hole in the right direction to match the other links. Once you have begun to insert the new link, use the pin pusher tool to push the pin all the way into place. Repeat this process to add any additional links.
- Set the pin into the hinge. Place one end of the watch band on the hinge of the new Fossil watch link and then insert the pin into the hole. You can now push the pin to carefully set it into the hinge. Your Fossil watch links have now been added to your watch band.
