Figuring out how to ask out a female coworker can be kind of tricky. On one hand, the saying goes, "Don't dip your pen in the company ink." On the other hand, she's really hot. There are a number of steps you can take to ensure that you will be able to seal the deal.
- Be near her often, but don't talk to her too often. There are certain things that you can do to increase your attractiveness so you can ask out out your co-worker. The primary one is to be in close proximity to a person. Use any excuse you can to walk past her desk or to get something from her. If she is eating lunch, sit at a table near her, but don't talk to her. Girls like things that they can't have. If your object is to ask her out, you don't want to be friends with her. You want to be that cute guy at the office. If you are at work and are in a group, be 100 percent about business when you talk to her. Better yet, talk to other people. That will drive your female co-worker crazy. That is what you want.
- Find out what she likes. This can be done through casual conversation with your co-workers, tales from others or from good old Facebook stalking. It is important to get a general idea of what she likes for step three. Use any means you can so you are better informed to ask out your female co-worker.
- Get tickets to something that she likes. Does she like whiny rock? Get some tickets to a concert. Does she like art? Get tickets to an opening. Does she like walking dogs? Ask to borrow your buddy's dog. Make sure that the date of the thing is not on a weekend because people often have plans on weekends. At least popular people that you want to ask out do. Have a good event to ask out your co-worker.
- Ask her out. A day and a half before the thing in question, walk up to her (confidently) and say, "I got these tickets for my buddy and me but his mom is sick, so he can't go. Would you want to come with me?" You're in. If you're going the dog route, do something like, "My grandmother is out of town and I told her I would take care of her dog. I don't really know anything about dogs. Would you come walk it with me?" The last one is tricky, but is worth the payout. Whatever you do, don't eat anything on a first date. It's just not the way it should be, especially with an office romance with a female co-worker.
Remember, if anything comes of this, to take separate cars in the morning. That way no one will suspect that you asked out your co-worker.
