How To Avoid Wrinkles

You don’t have to wait until you reach a certain age to think about how to avoid wrinkles. The best time to start taking care of your skin is when you’re young. As a person ages, the middle layer of the skin, or the dermis, loses collagen and elasticity, both necessary for supple and young-looking skin. Fortunately, you can take measures to avoid wrinkles.

Materials:

  • Water
  • Moisturizer
  • Sunscreen
  • Green teas
  1. Drink sufficient water. Health advisors recommend drinking eight to ten glasses of water daily. Water is essential to keep your skin hydrated and to give it a plump appearance. You are more likely to develop wrinkles if your skin is dry and dehydrated.
  2. Avoid smoking. Smoking also robs your skin of much needed moisture, which leads to premature wrinkles.
  3. Use a quality moisturizer. Look for moisturizers with natural humectants, like vitamin A. Humectants draw moisture from the dermis, the skin’s middle layer, to the epidermis, or the top layer. Thus, regular use of quality moisturizers help to prevent premature wrinkles.
  4. Choose skin products containing Coenzyme Q10.  Research indicates that Coenzyme Q10 helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Coenzyme Q10 contains antioxidant properties, which aid in detoxifying the skin. Because toxins can cause the skin to develop wrinkles, detoxifying the skin can help it remain looking young.
  5. Protect your skin from the sun. Because sun exposure is the No. 1 cause of premature wrinkles, wear a hat and long sleeves if you have to spend time in the sun. Remember to use sunscreen, even on cloudy days.
  6. Detoxify your body from the inside out. Drink green tea. Consume all types of berries. Most berries have powerful antioxidant properties. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables for their antioxidant properties, nutritional value and their ability to oxygenate your body.
  7.  Avoid premature wrinkles is not complicated. It’s simply a matter of taking precautions when you spend time in the sun and keeping your skin moisturized. Above all, don’t forget to drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.
